WHEN I SURVEY

WHEN I SURVEY

1 When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of glory died, my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride.

2 Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast save in the death of Christ, my God! All the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them through his blood.

3 See, from his head, his hands, his feet, sorrow and love flow mingled down. Did e’er such love and sorrow meet, or thorns compose so rich a crown?

4 Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were a present far too small. Love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all.

Are you sick and tired of the happenings around you, and all the voices you hear is why not settle for a suicide?

Hmmm! suicide is sweet but only to satan your enemy, and to those that hell is not an option but a destiny.

My dearest quit such out of your mind. Taking your life won’t be the right answer to the questions keeping you awake allnight while others are fast asleep dreaming.

Why not unplug your mind from the drama the devil is presenting, and focus on the cross were Jesus Christ was crucified only to take that shame, tears and burden from your heart.

He has promised in His words in 1Peter 5:7 “casting all your cares upon Him; for He careth for you”. His words are ” ye and amen”, if He says it He will do it.

Quit writing that suicide note and start writing a request note to the God of all flesh Who is able to make all the impossibilities possible.

God bless you.
